Who can Join ?
Youth aged 5 and up
Adults who want to make a difference, or just want to have fun
Scouting has youth programs for all ages
5-7 Beaver Scouts
8-10 Cub Scouts
11-14 Scouts
14-17 Venturer Scouts
18-25 Rover Scouts
Adults (18+) can join as leaders, we need lots of those to run a good program.
What is the procedure for Adults to become leaders ?
Adults wishing to become leaders in Scouts Canada must under go the 'Scouts Canada Screening Process', big name for a simple process.
Fillin and submit to the Group Commissioner an Adult Volunteer Form,
you will then be asked to provide a PRC (Police/Criminal Records Check).
Your references will be contacted, you will have an interview with experianced Scouters and then welcomed into Scouting.
That's pretty much it, time to start having fun!
But I don't live in Beaver Bank, is their a Scout Group near me ?
