NOTICE : In order to insure the safety of your children. Beavers must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the school with your Beaver for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.
Mar 24 2016, Welcome to Spring & Easter Egg Hunt & Party. Outdoors part of the evening, weather permitting. Sackville Heights Community Center, Silver & Gold Room, downstairs at end of hallway.
Mar 24 2016, Learning with Tools (real ones) & Transplant our Indoor House Plants into pots – 520 BBk Rd.
Apr 1-3 2016, Tenderpad (White Tail) Camp. This is a Camp for Cobequid Lakes Area White Tail Beaver Scouts where we introduce them to the Cub Scout Program. Details to follow
Apr 5 2016, We’ve challenged “B” & “C” Colony’s to a Paper Airplane Flyoff Competition. Brown Hall.
Apr 9 2016, Sat - Bottle Drive Fundraiser. Meet outside Brown Hall for 9:30AM . Rain Date 16 Apr.
Apr 12 2016, Visit to Fire Station #9 - Metropolitan Dr, Sackville. 6:30PM

Apr 22 -23 2016, Fri/Sat – Tenderpad (White Tail) Camp.
Apr 26 2016, (date TBC) – As part of Good Turn Week, we will Deliver our 2nd Community Project to Beacon House.
May 02 2016, Mon - Linking Activity with 2nd Beaver Bank Group (Beavers, Cubs, and Rovers). Our White Tail Beaver Scout will Swim-Up to Cubs and become a Tenderpad. He is Welcome to finish our Beaver programme, just don’t wear Beaver Uniform. We do encourage all Beaver Scouts to attend Ceremony. HTB Jr. High School, 6:20 PM.
May 03 2016, Learning with Tools (real ones) & Transplant into pots (and take home to keep some and give some away) your Herbs – Tic Tac’s Home.
May 04 2016, Wed (Date & Location TBC) – Planting Scout Trees. Please bring your Scout Tree Pledges and remember to wear Boots, Necker only, tied. Shovel not required.
May 10 2016, Celebrate Parent(s) - Moms & Dads/Other (as applicable) Evening of Games and Entertainment. We hope all Parents can make it. Silver & Gold Seniors Room, end of the downstairs hallway at the Sackville Heights Community Centre. Please use Back Door.
May 14 2016, Sat - Family Day at Shubenacadie Wildlife Park. Meet at the Park entrance for 10 AM and spend the day, till 3 PM, visiting with the animals and since we have to walk (hike) to get to each display, we would cover two events in one. (Jamboree on the Trail). Bring a Family Picnic Lunch. We will cover the admission cost for our Beaver Scouts & Keeo as a Group. Outside of this, the Family rate is $8.50 taxes in. This includes 2 Adults & 3 Youth over age of 5. Additional Youth over age 5 cost $1.75 each. Age 5 and under are free.

1. if we went to the Wildlife Park : meeting is at the Christmas Tree lot for a Family Fun Campfire, hot dogs & Marshmallows.....
By Family Fun I mean bring the whole family it will be fun.
2. else : meeting still at Christmas Tree Lot , but we go on a hike. Wear your boots.
3. RAIN - meet at Brown Hall , indoor campfire , no actual fire but we still get Hot Dogs.

Jun 4-5 2016, Sat/Sun - 2nd Beaver Bank Annual Group Camp - HTB Fun Forest Camp. This is a Camp for all our Beavers, Cubs & Rovers. Details to follow. Cost is usually $20.
Jun 07 2016, Bowling – Meet at the Bowling Alley on Sackville Drive for 6:30 PM. We will Bowl till 7:30 then have a snack. No charge for our Beaver Scouts. Parents and Siblings welcome to join us. Your cost would be $6, shoes and taxes in. Hope you can join us.

Canada Day Parade (9:00AM) - Participation not confirmed,
The parade route is from the Sobey's/Canadian Tire parking lot, 752 Sackville Drive to The Rock Church parking
lot, 222 Sackville Drive. I am told that's 2.7km. The parade starts at 9:00AM, all Beavers, Cubs & Scouts
should be at the Sobey's / Canadian Tire parking lot no later than 8:30AM.
Uniform required.
Tender pads should have their Cub Uniform. Youth may be picked up at the Rock Church parking lot.
