Oct 16 2010, Saturday - Day hike at the camp Practical camp craft and outdoor cooking skills Details to follow. Camp Gate Saturday morning at 9am. Pick up will be at the camp gate again at 7pm. We will be spending the entire day outside so dress accordingly. We will be eating lunch and supper at the site.

Nov 4 2010, Prep for first camp.

Nov 6-7 2010, Camp weekend. postponed extreme rain

Nov 11 2010, Remembrance Day - 10:00AM We will meet in Kinsac School parking lot and parade to the cenotaph in front of the Kinsack Fire Station. Uniform Required.

Nov 13-14 2010, Camp weekend. We will be leaving from the camp gate at 10am and returning to the camp gate on Sunday at 11am for pick up. Remember to pack your gear in plastic bags to keep dry. Plenty of dry socks and shopping bags will be a must.You should have a winter hat for sleeping at night that you haven't worn during the day. We will be having a breakfast, lunch and supper. You will need to have hot meals so plan accordingly. We will have the stove and the troop pot set for cooking. Don't forget you will need to carry your drinking water with you as well as water you need to cook with, 1 liter per day is a bare minimum.

Nov 28 2010, (Sun) Parade of Lights in Beaver Bank. Scouting in Beaver Bank enters several floats in this parade.

Dec 2 2010, trip to the Observatory, We will be meeting at the Sackville(Downsview) Bus Terminal at 6:15. back by 9:30. Remember we will need to dress warm as it is an outdoor observatory. NO FLASHLIGHTS ALLOWED because light can damage some experiments that take place onsite

Dec 3-4-5 2010, Camp - 2 night camp. We will be meeting at the camp gate at 7:00pm Friday night and pick up will be at the camp gate at 11:00am Sunday morning. Remember the winter kit list is on the 2nd Beaverbank website. We will be in for 2 breakfast, lunch and a supper. I encourage you all to follow Canada's Guide for Healthy Eating and hit all 4 food group with your meals ...... Meat,fuits and veggies,Bread and pasta, and Dairy.... Don't forget to pack ample drinking water, snacks and dry socks for the weekend. The weather is looking to be nice but chilly.
