NOTICE : In order to insure the safety of your children. Cubs must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the meeting hall with your Cub for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.

Mar 10 2008, No Meeting - March Break.
Mar 17 2008, Badge Bonanza Night - remember to work on your badges over March Break!
Mar 24 2008, Easter Monday - NO MEETING!
Mar 31 2008, Monarch-Rivendale Trail. The school is closed, but we will be checking out the new walking trail near the playground at the end of Rivendale Drive (just past the end of Joan).
Apr 1 2008, Registration due in for Group Camp. Deadline.
Apr 3 2008, 3rd-year cubs invited to Scout Troop meeting.
Apr 7 2008, Climate Change at the Discovery Centre 6:15-7:45pm. Bring $5 and DON'T BE LATE!
Apr 14 2008, Sixer's Council. Planning meeting at Akela's house for Sixers and Seconds ONLY.
Apr 16 2008, Climate Change Challenge. Last night. Wednesday @ Kinsac Elementary.
Apr 21 2008, Rocket Racket. Launching air powered plastic bottles.
Apr 26/27 2008, GROUP CAMP!! 2 night camp to be held at Fun Forest Camp with all other scouting youth from Beaver Bank. A registration kit will be handed out approximately 2 weeks ahead.
Apr 28 2008, Collect pledges for ScoutTrees, meet at school.
May 5 2008, Swim-up & Going-up Ceremony. 3rd-year Beavers come to join our pack, while 3rd-year Cubs leave us to join the Scout Troop.
May 6 2008, Tue ScoutTrees - tree planting. Location to be announced.
May 10 2008, Cub Fun Day @ York Redoubt in Purcell's Cove. We will meet at the school and follow each other out (for those who don't already know the way).
May 12 2008, .finish off the Purple Star (badge work)
May 17 2008, Jamboree On The Trail (JOTT). An international event! Chances are we will run in to some other scouting group as we hike. Back by popular demand – Victoria Park in Truro. We will meet at the school at 9am to carpool to Truro. Parents and family members are welcome to join us. Everyone will need to bring a bag lunch. We will be returning to the school between 2-2:30pm for pick-up..
May 19 2008, Victoria Day - no cubs.
May 26 2008, Outdoor games. (weather permitting).
May 24 2008, 3rd-year cubs have been invited to the Scout Troop's closing meeting.
May 30/31 Jun 1 2008, 'Zone Camp' at Camp Lone Cloud for all of Sackville & Beaver Bank Scouting.
June 7 2008, Closing Barbecue @ meadow at bottom of Grove Ave. All invited!

Canada Day Parade (9:00AM) - This will be 2nd Beaver Bank's 9th entry
in the Canada Day Parade in Lr. Sackville. (2005 the parade was cancelled by parade mashall due to extremely bad weather)
The parade route is from the Sobey's parking lot, 752 Sackville Drive to The Rock Church parking lot, 222 Sackville
Drive. I am told that's 2.7km. The parade starts at 9:00AM, all Beavers & Cubs should be at the Sobey's parking lot no later than 8:45PM.
Uniform required.
Tender pads should have their Cub Uniform. Participants may be picked up at the Rock Church parking lot.
parents are welcome.
We are entry #36, We will be lined up in front of Canadian Tire.
