Winter 2011 Schedule
NOTICE : In order to insure the safety of your children. Beavers must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the Hall with your Beaver for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.
NOTICE : Beavers are NOT ALLOWED to wear BOOTS into the HALL.
NOTICE : Our meeting place (pond) is the Brown Hall, 351 Beaver Bank Road. Phone Number 865-0757. We usually meet on a Wednesday night at the Brown Hall from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, but as you will see from this program we have events taking place on different nights in different locations, so to avoid any disappointments always refer to this program. Beavers bring $1.00 a week dues, this helps to pay for crafts, treats, and some badges etc.
Jan 5 2011, Start up with show, tell and play, bring in a Christmas toy, not an expensive one, as the Beavers will be sharing and playing with them.
Jan 12 2011, Investiture and new tail growth ceremony. Parents/families are welcome to come, you have a special part to play in the ceremony.. Beaver Scouts in uniform.

learning program.
$20 due for upcomming camp.
Jan 21-22 2011, B Colony overnight Camp at Fun Forest Camp. The cost for our Beavers will be $20, this covers cost of camp rental, food, heat, crafts, crest. Money must be in on or before 19th Jan. Details to follow.

Feb 2 2011, Ground Hog Day of fun and games.
Feb 9 2011, Valentine cooking, decorating and eating fun. No uniforms, old clothes.
Feb 16 2011, No Beaver meeting, due to Canada Games taking place. Schools, closed.
Feb 19 2011, Moosehead Hockey. 4pm at the Metro Centre. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures, Rovers, Leaders & their families from all over Halifax Area will be in attendance. A special crest will be issued. All tickets are $9.50. We will collect money and purchase the tickets so that the whole Colony will sit together. Uniform is required. A draw for Mooshead merchandise held for Uniformed Youth Only.

Tourch Light Parade - 6:00 @ Sycamore Lane School, parade will end at Knox United.

Feb 28 2011, Thinking Day campfire. HTB Jr High. 6:15PM Don't forget your campfire blanket.
Mar 2 2011, Beaver Buggy building and painting, no uniforms, old clothes to be worn.
Mar 8 2011, TUESDAY @ Monarch Dr School - Beaver Buggy fun racing at Monarch school. No outdoor shoes in gym.
Mar 16 2011, St Patrick's Day fun and games.
Mar 23 2011, Crazy treasure hunt outside.
