NOTICE : In order to insure the safety of your children. Beavers must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the Hall with your Beaver for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.
Jan 10 2007, Hey, we start up again with Show and Tell.
Jan 17 2007, Bring a pal (Beaver age) pal has 2 free meetings before registering) White tails have a special Silver Streak event.
Jan 24 2007, Public Health Nurse will show us a FUN learning way to hand washing, with a video games, and a special magic light to show just where we didn't wash our hands?
Jan 27 2006, (Saturday) Sespenaak Centre Winterfest. Don't forget to dress warm. This event is for all sections of Scouting in Sespenaak. It should be a great time, snack & hot chocolate are provided. Please wear your red knecker out side your coat for easy identification.
Jan 31 2007, With safety in mind, we have a Hydro Safety Expert coming in to show us a Safety Village, and the dangers of Electricity.
Feb 3 2007, WHITE TAILS ONLY. Fun Forest Camp, 9.45am until 11.30am. These Beavers will be representing our colony in helping the cubs to build a new Centennial campfire circle. Parents welcome to stay-bring work gloves (I wonder why?)
Feb 7 2007, Flashlight decorating for parade. Bring a flashlight 10" or more.
Feb 9-10 2007, Beaver Fun sleep over in church Hall, cost $10. details to follow.
Feb 14 2007, Valentine Fun and crafts. Please bring at least 16 valentines.
Feb 19 2007, (Monday) Thinking Day Service at Fun Forest Camp,in honour of our Founder Lord Baden Powell's 150th birthday. The B.P. Campfire is hosted by B Pack, all of Beaver Bank Scouting are invited. Don't forget your Campfire Blanket.
Feb 21 2007, (Wednesday) Tourch Light Parade - 6:15 @ Sycamore Lane School, parade will end at Knox United. Uniform click here to find out where is Sycamore Lane School
Feb 25 2007, Moosehead Hockey. 2:00 at the Metro Centre. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures, Rovers, Leaders & their families from all over Halifax Area (formerly Halifax Region) will be in attendance. A special crest will be issued. All tickets are $9.50 from the Scout Shop. Uniform is required.
Feb 28 2007, Building and painting our Beaver Buggies.WEAR OLD CLOTHES PLEASE. Cost to parents $5. this covers buggy and crest..
