Spring 2009 Schedule
NOTICE : In order to insure the safety of your children. Beavers must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the Hall with your Beaver for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.
NOTICE : Beavers are NOT ALLOWED to wear BOOTS into the HALL.
NOTICE : Our meeting place (pond) is the Brown Hall, 351 Beaver Bank Road. Phone Number 865-0757. We usually meet on a Wednesday night at the Brown Hall from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, but as you will see from this program we have events taking place on different nights in different locations, so to avoid any disappointments always refer to this program. Beavers bring $1.00 a week dues, this helps to pay for crafts, treats, and some badges etc.

Mar 25 2009, Fear Factor night. Almost like the show on TV, let see what our beavers will do.
Apr 1 2009, April fools day. ?? you never know.
Apr 8 2009, We will be having an Easter egg hunt, and playing games and doing some crafts.
Apr 15 2009, Science night.
Apr 22 2009, Earth day.
Apr 24-26 2009, GROUP CAMP!! 2 night camp to be held at Fun Forest Camp with all other scouting youth from 2nd Beaver Bank. A registration kit will be handed out approximately 2 weeks ahead.
Apr 22 2009, No Meeting – Had a great time at camp. also its 'Parent teacher night'.
May 6 2009,
Scoutree planting. Details to follow.
May 13 2009, Play ground night. We will venture out to the new playground in Woodbine and have a night out.
May 14 2009, Thursday 6:30 - 7:45 ScoutTrees - tree planting. Meet at the Camp.
May 20 2009, We will be flying kites. (kites will be supplied)
May 23 2009, Saturday - Hatfield Farm trip, all parents have the information. This will be B Colonies closing event, and we will not be meeting again until the Lower Sackville Canada Day Parade.
Jul 1 2009,
Canada Day Parade (9:00AM) - This will be 2nd Beaver Bank's 10th entry in the Canada Day Parade
in Lr. Sackville. (2005 the parade was cancelled by parade mashall due to extremely bad weather)
The parade route is from the Sobey's parking lot, 752 Sackville Drive to The Rock Church parking
lot, 222 Sackville Drive. I am told that's 2.7km. The parade starts at 9:00AM, all Beavers, Cubs & Scouts
should be at the Sobey's parking lot no later than 8:30AM.
Uniform required.
Tender pads should have their Cub Uniform. Youth may be picked up at the Rock Church parking lot.
